Information should remain in the record, not in the file.
Allergy and medication information is kept in the registration file in most institutions and is conveyed verbally to the kitchen. This chain is easily broken when there is a change of personnel or on duty.
The correct order is to link the information to the student record. Information related to the record appears as a warning on the relevant screens, and who updated it and when can be monitored.
What information should be kept?
The minimum set for the nursery is:
- Food and substance allergies, symptoms and intervention note
- Regularly used medications and application times
- Chronic conditions and special care notes
- People to call in case of emergency
- Authorized persons who can pick up the child
Surrender authority is also a health issue
Who the child will be delivered to is as critical as allergy information and should remain in the same record. When authorized persons are defined from the corporate headquarters, the record is checked at the time of delivery, not the recall.
Limit access
Health data is sensitive personal data. The number of accounts viewing this information should be kept to the minimum number necessary to do the job. In MiniTakip, each account only accesses the records within the scope of the task; When authorization is removed, access is also closed.
If allergy information does not appear on the right screen at the right time, it is not recorded.
